New Hampshire - White Mountains (Labor day 2011)

White Mountain Ridges
Gondola ride at the top of Wildcat Mountain

Gondola at Wildcat Mountain

Ski slope at Wildcat Mountain
White Mountain has its own weather!

I am in love with the ridges!

Cog rail at Mount Washington - It has cogs and braking system to defy the gravity and climb the steepest slopes

Stack of stones to guide the mountaineers. The mountain tops are bare as the only vegetation that can grow at this altitude is an acidic grass which, if swallowed, can burn a hole in human or animal stomach.

Cog train at where the tracks are switched. Can you see the wooden rail road going all the way to the top?

Glenn Fall - One could spend a whole day beneath this fall on a hot summer day!

A better life cottages - Cottages could have been better. Some how they found a place in mountains where you can't see a single peak!!! We won't recommend these cottages but here is the website http://www.abetterlifenh.com/CabinsRates.htm. Also, the cottages do not accommodate number of peoples claimed on the website. These are very small cottages.

Covered bridge exclusive to the Golf club members
Mount Washington Auto Road - A view from the tourist van. After a few miles these roads vanish in a dense fog. All you can see is the headlights coming from the opposite direction and two parallel fog line running along something that looks like a road. It was scary!!!
